Infants
(0-23 months)

At Kizer Academy, we believe that learning begins from day one.
We strongly believe in blending academics and fun — even at the earliest stage of life. Your baby will be held in loving arms within a warm, nurturing environment designed to support their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. From the very beginning, your little one will build meaningful bonds with their teacher and the tiny friends around them.

A Curriculum Designed for Your Littlest Learner
We are proud to use the Experience Baby Curriculum — a nationally recognized program designed specifically for infants from birth to 23 months. This research-based curriculum goes far beyond bottles and diapers. It is built around relationship-based play and discovery, with the goal of building meaningful connections between your child and the nurturing adults in their life.

Each month, your child's teacher receives a brand new Experience Baby Teaching Kit featuring a fresh theme and 36 play-based activities — ensuring your child always benefits from the latest teaching methods and highest quality learning tools.
Your child's brain doubles in size during the first year of life and reaches 90% of its adult size by age 5. The experiences your child has right now matter deeply — and we take that responsibility seriously.
What Your Baby Will Be Learning
Your infant will develop 35 foundational skills across emotional, language, physical, and cognitive development, including:
Forming and maintaining a secure attachment to their teacher
Using their 5 senses to investigate and make sense of the world around them
Making early vocal sounds, gestures, and movements to communicate
Showing off their little personalities through expression and interaction
Rolling, crawling, and pulling up to explore their environment
Using fine motor skills and intentional hand movements to hold and manipulate objects

As They Grow Into Toddlers

As your child develops, their program grows with them. Teachers use an embedded assessment tool to continuously individualize the experience and increase the challenge at your child's unique pace. Your toddler will work on:
Exploring their environment to build even deeper, more meaningful connections
Developing fine and gross motor skills with persistence and increasing body control
Building independence through self-help tasks
Expressing early language, creativity, and emotions in encouraging, supportive ways

You'll Always Know What's Happening

Beyond the daily care, you will receive a daily highlights in your Brightwheel app which activities your child engaged in and the skills they gained through purposeful play — so you're always connected to your child's growth and day.
