Hello future KA Families!
        I started Kizer Academy (KA) to provide support to local families during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to starting KA, I was a certified School Counselor in a local public school and private alternative school. I have also worked as a Foster Care Supervisor and Parent Educator. I obtained a Masters in Counseling and about to finish with my second Master in Teaching. Mrs. Kizer also served in the Air National Guard prior to completing her Master degree. I start my doctorate in the Winter of 2024!
        My husband and four boys live locally in Barnhart. When not at Kizer Academy I am teaching online classes for Maryville University, watching one of her children play sports (hockey, baseball, cross country, soccer, rugby and ninja gym), one kiddo also plays the drums. We enjoy exploring local attractions, events and concerts. WE are HUGE supporters of our  St. Louis Blues and CITY SC. 
       I believes all children deserve to LEARN in a safe environment. They should LAUGH and have fun and GROW into well-rounded respectful children in society.

Courtney Stuckmeyer, BA

Hello Families!
My name is Courtney Stuckmeyer but the kiddos call me Mrs. Courtney.
I have been with Kizer Academy since January of 2023. I am the assistant director here at Kizer Academy. When I am not in the office, you will see me in classrooms, cooking, cleaning, etc! Any time spent with the kiddos is a very special time that I cherish because I love to watch them LEARN, LAUGH, and GROW. Especially getting to see them grow from infancy all the way through our prekindergarten program!
Before working in childcare, I was a Certified Nurses Assistant for 4 years and a Certified Medical Assistant for 1 year right before COVID-19 hit. This is what also changed my pathway in careers! During this time, nursing school got a lot harder and stressful for me, becoming difficult for me to succeed in. This is when my back up passion for teaching became real. Something that both of these pathways have in common is my passion for taking care of others! I have been working with children for 4 years now. I graduated from UMSL with my Bachelors in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Special Education and Early Childhood Education in May 2024.
My husband and I have been married since May 2022. We have a Golden Retriever/Australian shepherd mixed puppy named Luna, she definitely keeps us entertained! We will be growing to a family of 3 by the end of 2024. When I am not at Kizer Academy, you can find me spending time on either of the family farms (yes, one of them is Stuckmeyer's in Fenton), enjoying the beauty of nature, going to country concerts, supporting our local sports teams - Cardinals and Blues, and spending time with our families!

Hello families!

My name is Kristin Rose and I am the Assistant Director at the Barnhart location of Kizer Academy.  
Growing up, I always knew that I wanted to teach children.   I love to learn. I want to instill that love of learning on the children that I work with. 
I graduated from University of Missouri-St. Louis in December of 2018 with my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology.   I am also currently pursuing my Masters of Business Administration because I just couldn't stay away from a good textbook and course. During my masters coursework, I have spent several years working in a childcare center and also for a local school district. In that district I loved helping to provide services to children with special needs.  Through all my experiences I have learned that there is nothing quite like watching children LIVE, LAUGH, and GROW under my care. 
I have been married to my husband since July of 2015 and we have two beautiful daughters together.   They never fail to keep my life amazing, messy, and a little crazy.   I love being their mother and know how much it means to trust someone with your child's care, so thank you for considering Kizer Academy for your childcare!

Hello! You can call me Meemaw or Ms. Vicky.

        I am a retired medical assistant, but not really retired. When my daughter, Sarah Kizer, opened Kizer Academy I wanted to be a part of her mission. I am the resident grandma, chef, and boo boo kisser. I love getting to know the children and making yummy meals for them. Apparently, my green beans are the best!
       I am a mother of two sons (Dave and Rich) and grandmother of 8 grandsons (Jon, Josh, Joe, Brendan, Will, Noah, Keegan and Quinn). I am a pup mom of two (Bosco and Max). I am a huge animal lover. My favorite things to do is to spend time at "The Ranch" camping. I really enjoy watching my grandsons do what they love. You will frequently see me watching my grandsons play hockey, soccer, baseball, and dance. My newest favorite obsession is finding things for my condo on marketplace. I enjoy fly fishing and traveling. My dream travel destination is to the United Kingdom.

Hi! I’m Mrs. Bhrea! I’ve worked in childcare for almost 4 years. I am certified in Early Childhood education, and I plan to continue my education to become an elementary school teacher. I love dogs, coffee, baking, and singing! This year back in February I married my best friend.

My goal is to make sure my classroom is a positive and loving environment where children can express themselves. I love helping them reach their important milestones and I’m so excited to help them learn new things every day. Whether we’re mixing paint to learn about how certain colors are made, scissor practice, or building the best possible tower just to knock it down with a super cool truck, it is NEVER a dull moment! I strive to make sure they know that learning is fun and it’s okay to ask for help! I also try to find new and exciting ways to incorporate hands on activities and creative play! After all play is serious business!
